Guides available in the Geopark

In the San’in Kaigan Geopark, Geopark guides and staff members of related facilities will guide you around the Geopark. They have a great deal of knowledge of the must-see spots in the Geopark, and the relationship between such spots and the Geopark. You can also ask for information on good restaurants in the area!

We will introduce the attraction of the Hamamura Kaigan Geosite belonging to the San’in Kaigan Geopark. We will also explain traditional local events, the origin of the song Kaigara-bushi, as well as trailing the footsteps of Koizumi Yakumo in Ketaka.

We mainly provide guided tours to visit Geosites in and around Ketaka-cho and learn about the history and culture of Ketaka.
