In the San’in Kaigan Geopark, Geopark guides and staff members of related facilities will guide you around the Geopark. They have a great deal of knowledge of the must-see spots in the Geopark, and the relationship between such spots and the Geopark. You can also ask for information on good restaurants in the area!

We have set up a group of guides with a view to introducing many people to the wonderful nature of the Uzuka Area. We plan guided tours that allow visitors to enjoy strolling in the hills.

– Nordic walking
Nordic walking is a kind of fitness walking using a set of poles. You can not only walk, but also enjoy observing nature in the forests and the heights along your way.

– Snowshoe hiking
Put on a pair of snow shoes and stroll in a snow-covered forest. You can experience Uwano in winter by following animal footprints, or rolling in the snow.

– Cross-country skiing (walking skiing) & hiking
You can explore a forest while enjoying cross-country skiing. You can fully enjoy Uwano in winter by skiing on the snow.
